AGM / Call for new board members

You are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Gas City Ball Hockey.

LOCATION: Hockey Hounds Social Room (39 10th Street NE)

We are also extending a call for new board members:

Wanted: Passionate individuals to join a dedicated group of ball hockey parents to run and grow the Gas City Ball Hockey League.

Gas City Ball Hockey League is has openings for 2 new Directors for the 2026 spring season.  In the past we have welcomed non-voting 'Members at Large' to assist the board with the many tasks needed to run our steadily growing minor sports association.

With the season planning complete and registration underway, new board members and volunteers will assist with various tasks to promote the sport, prepare for opening weekend and help manage league operations from now until Provincials in June.

Time commitment varies depending on the time of season and league events.  Most league business is conducted online via Slack, but in general involves 1-3 online meetings per month plus whatever tasks are required.

Upcoming league events include:
- Completion of registration
- League player evaluations (online system for 2026)
- Coach's draft / team selection
- Game scheduling
- Provincials tryouts, team selection & practices
- League playoffs
- Year-end event
