Open Skills, Team Practices and Provincials Tryouts

Happy Easter Ball Hockey Family!!

Now that we have the season underway, we have begun the process of moving forward with a couple new initiatives and preparing for selecting our Provincials teams.

The new initiatives are open skills sessions, for any player wishing to work on their ball hockey skills, and team practices to help teammates get to know one another in a non-game environment and run team drills.  We appreciate these are short notice and that some coaches may not be available these nights but we will arrange to make coaches and/or 18U players availble to run drills.

Open skills session for players on Monday April 21 (Easter Monday) from 5:30-9:30

• 9U - 5:30 - 6:30
• 9U - 6:30 - 7:30
• 11U - 7:30 - 8:30
• 13U - 8:30 - 9:30

Cost is $5 cash or non-perishible food bank donation - Cash will be donated to Kidsport.  Sign up for Open Skills HERE.

Each team will be schedule 2 practices starting April 22 to April 24 and another in the following weeks.  These sessions are not mandatory but an excellent opportunity for the teams to get together and recieve extra floor time.  The first round of practices are tentatively scheduled for:
- 9U - Tue April 22
- 11U - Tue/Wed April 22/23
- 13U - Tue/Thu April 22/24 
- 15U - Wed/Thu April 23/24
- 18U - Thu April 24
THESE DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE but once finalized, dates and times will be posted on your RAMP Team App.

Finally, provincials tryouts will be held starting April 29 or May 6 pending floor time confirmation.  There will be at least 2 try-out sessions per age group and team selection will be based primarily on these sessions.
